Are Open Access waivers available for CCHMC employees?
CCHMC faculty members are eligible for the University of Cincinnati's open access publishing benefits available through OhioLINK, the state's academic library consortium.
Please note:
- The corresponding author must be affiliated with the University of Cincinnati at the time of publishing. For this reason, we recommend that the faculty member on a publication, and not a fellow, is the corresponding author.
- The Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer deals have a maximum number of articles per year that may be published as Open Access under this agreement. When the calendar year limit is reached, corresponding authors will no longer see the option to publish open Access at no charge during their article publishing process and will need to pay the APC or publish the article under the traditional subscription access model at no charge.
