How can I download EndNote to my computer?

EndNote 21 is available to download! Follow the instructions to download from the Software Center

Before you Install EndNote please be aware of these things:

  • EndNote can only be downloaded on a Cincinnati Children's desktop or laptop* due to our license agreement.
  • Do not save an EndNote library to a cloud syncing website unless your are familiar with Endnote requirements. 
  • Ensure Windows and Office produced are updated to most recent versions.
  • Close all Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint before starting this installation.
  • Call Information Services (513) 636-4100 to install updates unless you have administrative rights to your computer.

WINDOWS

  • Go to the Start Flag  (bottom left of your computer) and type in Software Center.
  • Click on EndNote 21 and follow the prompts to install.

MAC

  • Go to Spotlight search and type in Self service.
  • Locate EndNote 21 and follow the prompts to install. 

KNOWN ISSUES

Please note that Endnote advises users not to save libraries to cloud based services.
